Enterprise Ireland is helping Irish businesses to manage the economic impact of the current crisis in Ukraine. The Ukraine Enterprise Crisis Scheme offers two streams of support to manufacturing and internationally traded services companies. This support offers state aid support for eligible energy intensive companies.

What can it be used for?

  • To compensate energy intensive companies for the additional costs incurred due to exceptionally high gas and electricity prices.
  • To enable business continuity

What is provided?

  • Aid will be approved in the form of direct grants.
  • 30% of the eligible costs up to a maximum of €2 million depending on size of company and demonstrated need.

Who is it for?

Energy intensive companies experiencing severe increases in energy costs in 2022 and 2023.
