This year’s Summit will headline with the theme of ‘Intelligent Workplaces’ and will explore the important roles that psychological safety in teams, AI and Talent Intelligence will play in creating sustainable, healthy and productive workplaces. With Ireland’s labour market at full employment and an ongoing housing shortage, businesses globally, are seizing transformative technology alternatives to meet demand. Ibec HR Leadership Summit 2023

On the agenda:

  •  Psychological safety – A crucial component for the performance and wellbeing of diverse teams, which are the lifeblood of today’s organisations.  Harvard Professor Amy Edmondson describes psychological safety as “the belief that one can speak up without risk of punishment or humiliation”. Leaders play an important role in nurturing psychological safety by welcoming and normalising divergent opinions. To help leaders increase psychological safety in their own workplaces, wherever they may be, we will explore general understanding, latest techniques, and best practices around this topic.
  • AI – The phenomenon creating many new jobs, changing the nature of existing ones and creating a demand for new skills. We will examine how new AI is changing the world of work, opening up new opportunities and potential risks. This new technology offers us a myriad of possibilities to improve workplace diversity & inclusion, talent acquisition and reskilling of talent pools.  A human centric approach to technology will be the cornerstone of success. Our experts on the day will help you position these advances into your role as CHRO.
  • Talent Intelligence (TI) – The tool that is empowering HR and Business leaders to make more informed strategic decisions on their workforce planning and talent management through data analytics. 2023 has highlighted the important role that Talent Intelligence predictions, combined with internal data knowledge and labour market insights have, in creating an agile and continuously growing workforce. This is the next big opportunity, and we will examine the more progressive ways of strategically planning for small- and large-scale workforce development fit for the future.
