The Business Library, Central Library presents Starting Your Own Business series of three workshops in partnership with Dublin City Local Enterprise Office.

These in-person talks at the Central Library will look at the characteristics of an entrepreneur and the tools that are required to successfully start a business in any industry sector. They include a case study on starting a new business.

Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur & Idea Generation

Thursday 13th October 6pm – 7.45pm

This session will explore some of the key personal and professional tools and will introduce participants to some basic concepts in order to commence the business planning process.

Market Research – Identifying Clients, Competitors and Resources

Thursday 20th October 6pm – 7.45pm

This workshop will demonstrate effective market research tools and techniques to identify – potential customers, current competitors and supports available to develop a successful strategy.

Financial Supports & Grants for Entrepreneurs

Thursday 27th October 2022 6pm – 7.45pm

This workshop will explore aspects of raising finance, supports and grants that are out there for entrepreneurs and early start-ups.
