The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC), the representative body for the tourism industry in Ireland, are hosting Leading the Tourism Recovery – ITIC Virtual Conference 2021, broadcast live from O’Reilly Hall, UCD, Dublin

The event will take place on 10th February 2021 from 10:00-12:45

10.00am: Welcome and housekeeping by Moderator, Dearbhail McDonald (BBC Ulster, ex-Group Business Editor Independent News & Media)

10.05am: “Reeling in the Year”;  a short film review of the pandemic’s impact on Ireland’s tourism industry.

10.10am: Irish Tourism in 2025: moderator fireside chat with ITIC Chairperson Ruth Andrews

10.40am: Moderator interview with Catherine Martin TD, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media

11.05am: Break

11.15am: Presentation of Tourism Industry Lifetime Achievement Award

11.30am: Moderator interview with Professor Luke O’Neill, Professor of Biochemistry and Immunology, Trinity College Dublin

12.00pm: Industry leaders panel including Paul Kelly (Fáilte Ireland), Niall Gibbons (Tourism Ireland) and Cathy Bryce (AIB Managing Director; Corporate, Institutional & Business Banking)

12.45pm: Finish
