The School of Business at Maynooth University has launched its Entrepreneurship Summer School, a dynamic five-day programme designed specifically for senior cycle students interested in exploring the world of business and entrepreneurship.
As students begin preparing for their college journey, this summer school offers a unique opportunity to gain practical insights into starting and developing a business—from initial idea to real-world execution.
At Maynooth University, the School of Business is committed to innovative research and the delivery of impactful academic programmes. Its mission is to empower students with the skills, mindset, and knowledge to thrive in a changing world—fostering both sustainable success and entrepreneurial spirit.
Taking place over five engaging days, the programme explores the theme of entrepreneurship, guiding students through the essential components of launching a successful business. Participants will take part in:
Interactive seminars on strategy, marketing, innovation, and design
Hands-on tasks that take a small idea and develop it into a business plan
Brand building workshops, including how to establish a web presence
Guest lectures from industry professionals and Maynooth University faculty
Market research and audience targeting exercises
A field trip to a major multinational corporation
Dates: Five consecutive days (Dates TBC)
