Course Description
Innovation and Collaboration for Growth - Seminar Series
Innovation and Collaboration for Growth is a three seminar series that provides insights into what it takes at personal, organisational and sectoral level to deliver on the goals of Our Public Service 2020.
The seminar format will vary according to the topic. We will integrate case examples, visiting speakers and input from participants to complement the IPA experience in this area as a way to stimulate fresh thinking and build a cohort of effective practice in the Irish Public Sector.
The first seminar on 11 June 2019 encourages senior leaders to exhibit appropriate behaviours to inspire and instigate effective innovative and collaborative practices. It is therefore critical that they understand how they think about and stimulate collective working as a means to create the conditions for applied creativity.
The second seminar, on 24 September 2019, focuses on developing the skillset required for collaborative and innovative working to ensure senior leaders can enable others in the application of new ways of working.
The final seminar, on 19 November 2019, will provide an opportunity for senior leaders to consider what models and frameworks can be used to build common purpose towards collective problem solving.
