Leitrim College will host its “She Did It…” webinar on 15 October to celebrate International Women’s Enterprise Day, bringing together insights on leadership, workplace culture, personal confidence and professional development. The online event will feature Orla Bakeberg as its third and final guest speaker, offering participants an opportunity to explore how new perspectives can influence leadership and organisational culture.
Bakeberg is a CPD-accredited speaker and trainer, as well as Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of An Even Better Place to Work (bp2w®), a workplace culture and employee engagement platform.
Bakeberg’s keynote and workshop, Be Your Change: The Power of the Possible, draws on three decades of international business experience. Her background includes founding and scaling a marketing and logistics company operating across multiple countries in Southern Africa.
The session explores how leadership, culture and personal confidence can shift when individuals learn to view existing situations, opportunities and challenges from a different perspective. For professionals, these themes are relevant to leadership development, team engagement and the creation of more positive organisational cultures.
Her experience spans business, entrepreneurship and creative practice. Bakeberg is the 2026 Branch President of Network Ireland Mayo, a published author of Life Threads (2023) and a professional natural-light photographer. She has delivered keynotes and workshops across Ireland and Southern Africa and is an alumna of Enterprise Ireland’s Next Wave, Empower Comasú Fás and WeGrow programmes.
The webinar offers an opportunity for professionals, business owners and aspiring leaders to consider how confidence, perspective and workplace culture influence performance and collaboration. Events of this kind can also support continuing professional development by encouraging participants to reflect on their leadership approach and identify opportunities for change.
For organisations investing in employee engagement and management training, these themes highlight the importance of developing people alongside business strategies and operational processes.
