Coaching Skills for Managers - Graphite HRM workshop

With the emphasis on high performance standards, as well as employee development and retention, the ability of the manager to adopt the role of coach is critical for today's organisations. In this workshop we examine the commitment a manager has to make to coach employees and the tools and techniques to successfully achieve this.

The IBEC Trainer Skills Programme

This practical programme will provide participants with the skills and techniques required to deliver effective training within their organisations.

At the end of this programme, participants will:
- Identify where and when training is required
- Design, plan and deliver appropriate training to meet identified training needs
- Understand the principles of learning and apply these in training situations
- Apply acquired training skills in the workplace
- Monitor trainees and provide corrective coaching where necessary
- Use visual aids effectively

The course is aimed at those involved in training delivery who want to develop their skills, style and confidence in this area.

Belbin Train the Trainer

This two day course goes way beyond ensuring users of the Belbin profiling model and Interplace system are fully competent and achieve the required standards to become Belbin accredited. It provides participants with the knowledge and skills on how to use the Belbin model to improve individual, team and organisation performance. Participants gain hands-on experience in using the Belbin model and the e-interplace software generated reports.

Trainer is Barrie Watson, the managing Director of Cert Consultancy in the UK.

The cost is €790 per delegate.

IBEC - Managing the Training Function

This programme is aimed at managers who have responsibility for management training. It focuses on managing training rather than the delivery of training. We provide a Train the Trainer Programme which focuses on the delivery element of training.

At the end of this programme, participants will:
- Be aware of current trends and initiatives in training and development
- Understand the elements of an effective training system, including evaluation
- Know how to identify training needs and develop training plans

- Developing training plans
- Designing training programmes
- Issues in implementing training
- Recording of training
