Event Listing: HR Ireland 2007

HR Ireland 2007 will take place this 21st & 22nd February at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin. The conference and exhibition promises a mix of seminars and presentations from Irish and international HR experts, plus an exhibition featuring the latest in HR and training products and services...

HR Ireland is the biggest HR exhibition in Ireland. It offers delegates the opportunity to learn and update themselves with some of the latest news and information from experts within the local and international HR community. A full programme of seminars and presentations looking at burning issues across HR in Ireland takes place over the two days, while a wide variety of Irish and international companies will be exhibiting and giving HR and training product presentations. A number of prizes will be awarded, including Best HR Project and Best Training Project.

The show will be attended by HR Directors and Managers, Training Managers, Recruitment Managers, Compensation and Benefits Managers, Industrial Relations Managers, General Business Managers with employee responsibilities, and others with an interest in Irish HR issues.

The IITD (Irish Institute of Training and Development) are sponsoring HR Ireland for the second year running. The Best Training Project (Private Sector) prizes for 2007 is sponsored by Coach Institute of Ireland. The Best HR Project prize (Private Sector) is sponsored by Frontier Software.

Top names in the Irish HR sector will give presentations over the two days. Topics to be covered in the presentations on Day One include Conflict Resolution, Team Performance, Blended Learning, Coaching, while a delegate Wine Reception and HR Directors Dinner and Think Tank Session take place on Wednesday evening. Thursday sees seminars looking at Interview Techniques, Succession Planning, Leadership Development and Change Management. The Seminars and Workshops will start at 10AM each day and run all day.

Entrance to the exhibition is only €10 per day. You can register on www.hrireland.ie. Seminars, Workshops and Exhibition cost €30 for one day or €50 for both days. Entry prices are discounted by 20% for online pre-event registration. Entry to all of the presentations and workshops will be on a first come first served basis.
