New erasmus for young entrepreneurs

A new European Commission funded 'Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs' scheme will be launched on February 19th. The programme will allow new entrepreneurs to learn from experienced managers of SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) in another EU country.

The scheme will enable the exchange of experience between new and experienced entrpreneurs, facilitate access to new markets and business partners, enhance business networking among Europe's SMEs, and allow experienced entrepreneurs to learn about business opportunities in another EU country.

An Intermediary Organisation (IO) has been appointed in every EU country to run the scheme and Ireland's is the South Dublin Chamber of Commerce Limited. Contact them at 01 458 5203 or email business@sdchamber.ie.
